Volvo’s new VEA family of four-cylinder engines starts production

As a result, Volvo has been planning a new range of four-cylinder engines to power their range in the future – the new Volvo Engine Architecture (VEA) – and has spent the last couple of years readying their design – and their facility in Skövde – to start production. Infiniti has released an image of a new Q50 Eau Rouge concept ahead of its debut at the Detroit Motor Show on January 13. The Eau Rouge is based on the Q50 saloon, and the company says it draws inspiration from the collaboration between Infiniti and Red Bull Racing. Hertz brings back rent-a-racer program with Dream Cars

In 1966 -- at the dawn of the horsepower wars -- Carroll Shelby made a deal with the Hertz Corporation to produce a line of Shelby GT350 Mustangs for rent. Later, the cars would be refreshed and repurposed for sale as GT350-H models. Just as the horsepower wars have returned, so has Hertz' rent-a-racer program.
